Chamber Records young gun MC & beat maker named Namek. Hailing from the 626 San Gabriel Valley in LA, Nam's world is shaped by his closeness with family, his allegiance to crew & his love for music. As a hip-hop aficionado he can rattle off old school heads & recall their music at a rate that far precedes his mid-20s age. For Nam hip-hop is a way of life that he lives to the fullest each day grinding his merch, recording new music, frequenting online radio spots & rocking plenty prestigious shows opening for the likes of DJ Quik, Official Sick Jacken & THE OFFICIAL DOGG POUND GANGSTA to name a few he's done recently. As a card carrying member of Chamber he has self-released 2 solo lps & nuff collabs with his crew heads Local Heroes. Also an artist on the Keep The Feel Ent. digi label roster, Joseph Namek Huicochea has done his share of tour dates & collab songs with Abstract Rude & family; the forthcoming KTF Ent. label sampler features Nam on 3 diff songs. Flow & Tell has been somewhat of a coming out party for Namek with him being the 1st ever MC to win the SBRC (16-Bar-Rap-Competition) 3x in a row for the 3-Peat (FAT3,4,5 before retiring as a judge). Nam returned this past October for FAT10's Tournament of Champions SBRC and took home the Championship Belt for his 4th time.  He currently has a forthcoming Open Eye ep with producer Frankie Valentine that he just dropped the "So Good" single & music video for as well as "Hold It Down" featuring the legendary Kokane [below].
Stay tuned for more big things from young Namek.

"The song hit me in that Dove Shack meets A Lighter Shade Of Brown kinda way. Something everybody's hood can relate to. Definitely a smoothed out Gfunk track, catchy chorus with game running lyrics that typify a young lad's aspirations for coming up in the world, having fun with the ladies, and holding the fort down with his real homies. In times that seem to wanna build more walls between us, this collaboration is proof that hip-hop has power to bring us all together.", -Abstract Rude
